Like Seabaron, Sushi Social is another Reykjavik restaurant that doesn’t look all-that-and-a-bag-of-chips from the outside. I don’t think I’d have ventured in unless it had come recommended.
As you can see from the pic, the signage screams cheap and cheerful. But once you’re inside, you realise that this place is far from it.
Sushi Social is a premium Reykjavik sushi restaurant with food, design and service to die for.
Sushi Social can be found in the heart of Reykjavik. It’s a short hop away from 101 Hotel. (read my review here.) And just off one of the main high streets in the city centre.
Kaffitár, a great coffee stop, is literally around the corner. And a few other Reykjavik wonders, Kröst (a brilliant food hall) and ROK (a beautiful moss-roofed restaurant) can be found about 10 minutes away.
High-end sushi, made with some of the best seafood in the world.
