The Place

Bambuddha’s been around for about 20 years now. It calls itself a “restaurant temple”. And with its grand, high ceiling and stone statues it definitely has that kind of vibe.

But it’s temple-luxe. In this MediterrAsian restaurant and cocktail lounge you’ll also find chandeliers, sumptuous day beds and exquisitely presented cuisine.

Bambuddha is pretty much right in the middle of Ibiza. A little way inland from Santa Eularia centre.

A Good Shout for…

Asian fusion food. A long, lengthy (if slightly pricey) dinner in a totally unique venue.

The Best Bits

• The fusion food. Dim sum. Green papaya salad. Thai green curry. It’s all inventive and delicious.
  
• Obviously dinner here is amazing. But the most recent time I visited I ended up eating sushi and drinking cocktails up at the bar. Which was an equally impressive experience. Just be sure to book ahead if you’re set on eating from the restaurant menu.
  
• Exploring the beautiful venue. There’s a spacious bar area and lots of different chill out spaces for a pre or post dinner cocktail (or two).
