Fun, "fine-casual" restaurant and cocktail bar with an open kitchen. As the name suggests, bread is king of the menu. Which might sound boring. Until you see (and taste) their inventive, international offering.
The Neighbourhood
Right in the heart of Covent Garden. Slap bang in the middle of London. Buns and Buns sits within Covent Garden’s famous piazza building.
Possibly the best sandwich stop of your life. Open early until late so it’s always a good time to stop by.
The Best Bits
The international cuisine. Taiwanese bao, Italian style pizza breads and a Brazilian bread served with lime marinated rotisserie chicken. There’s a ton to choose from.
The quick turnaround – great when you’re lunching in a hurry. Be prepared to queue if you’re visiting at a peak time though – this place doesn’t take reservations.
The truffle and wild mushroom bun. It’s my absolute favourite. But – saying that – as a pescetarian I do find it hard to resist their Thai chilli prawn bun too. Yum!
