Anyone who knows me well is fully aware of mypancake addition. It’s pretty much my favourite food stuff. And no visit toAmsterdam would be complete without some authentic Dutch pancakes.
There are big debates about where to find the bestpancakes in Amsterdam. Maybe I’m too easy to please but I find it reallydifficult to pick just one. Of all the many (many) pancakes I’ve tried acrossthe city, I don’t think I’ve ever had one I didn’t like.
But, if I had to choose, I suppose my go-to pancake house would have to be this one, the ingeniously named Pancakes Amsterdam. They serve up fresh, homemade pancakes in a welcoming little venue, with tables outside when the weather allows.
Pancakes Amsterdam is a small chain with a handful of locations across Amsterdam. I visited the original restaurant, in the Nine Streets district, opposite the Houseboat museum and right on the canal.
Other Amsterdam highlights close by including the Pulitzer and Soho House as well as Kassens, Goodies and The Avocado Show, all eateries close to my heart.
