From classic eggs & avo to avocado burgers and avocado ice cream, this ‘gram friendly resto serves really tasty food in a beautiful setting.

The Neighbourhood

There are three venues in Amsterdam (and one inBrussels). But I discovered The Avocado Show Amsterdam at their downtownlocation.

It’s in the famous Nine Street district. Right by the canal and a short hop from a few of my faves, the Pulitzer Hotel and Goodies. The central location means you’re walking distance to pretty much anything and everything.

A Good Shout for…

Avocado fans and Insta-obsessives. I ticked both those boxes and fell in love with the place.

The Best Bits

• It’s oh-so ‘grammable. From the plush pink booths to the walls of foliage to the exquisitely presented dishes. Everything fits so nicely within that little square frame.
  
• The food. Avocado is used in everything on the menu at The Avocado Show Amsterdam. And if you’re sat there thinking that avocado is the blandest ingredient you’ve ever had the inconvenience of tasting, don’t be deterred. These guys know what they’re doing and really pack every dish full of flavour.
  
• Gorging without the guilt. All of the avocados used in the restaurant are sustainably and ethically sourced.
