The Place - Surf Coffee, Moscow

Surf Coffee, Moscow is a busy, energetic, surf-inspired café with surfboards adorning the walls. High quality coffee, quick eats and a cool vibe are the order of the day here. Perfect for a morning grab ‘n’ go before trawling the city sights.

The Neighbourhood

Surf Coffee, Moscow is in the Basmanny district. Close toedgy bars, amazing food joints and some great galleries too.

It’s surrounded by tons of other cool places like KK 12/10,the Marketplacerestaurant and Double B Café.In fact, new and original enterprises are popping up here all the time – a suresign that this neighbourhood has something fresh and exciting to offer.

The Best Bits

  • Discovering that the queue actually moved pretty quickly. Trust me on this one. You're not left waiting for long.
  • Sitting up on the ledge of the open window, peeking at the locals strolling by. A perfect people watching perch.
  • The cool, slightly hipster vibe. Created by the young crowd, the slightly industrial décor (think concrete walls and rough wooden floors) and a selection of pot plants.
